After finishing a two-year cruise on our twenty-year-old steel 51' Robert Perry-designed sailboat, it was time for a paint job. It was an easy decision to truck CHARLOTTE from Texas to Seattle and have Paul Ziegler and the crew at Northwest Marine Fiberglass do this big job.
We were very pleased with the work they did in 2002: a cosmetic refit of our last boat, a 1989 Swan 36, including sanding teak decks, buffing and waxing the hull, bottom paint, and painting winch and steering pedestals. When CHARLOTTE arrived at Canal Boatyard in July of 2009, we stripped the decks and spars of all hardware. Northwest Marine Fiberglass prepared and painted the deck, hull, bottom, mast, and boom.
When completed and launched, CHARLOTTE looked like a new boat. When our ownership plans changed in January 2010, we displayed CHARLOTTE at the Lake Union Boat Show, where she immediately sold...... Thanks to Northwest Marine Fiberglass for their quality work!
